Wicklow 5k Road C/ships.

The Wicklow 5k Road C/Ships was held in Ashford this evening, 22nd April. Over 100 athletes took part, 22 of those from Bray Runners. First home, for the third year in a row, was Neil Wiktorski, closely followed by Gary Condon. Gary took Gold in 0/40 cat. Suzanne Foot won gold in the Womens 0/40, with Helen Barry taking Silver and Ashling Smith Bronze. In the Mens O/45, Dominic Horan took Silver and Bernard Quinn won Gold in the O/60 category. In the womens O/50 Jean O'Kennedy added Gold to her recent Leinster 10ml Gold. Sandra Brady won Bronze in the same category. There was also excellent performances from our athletes who took part, including a number of PBs. Well done to Angela and Jason Groome who were taking part in their first competitive race.
