Congratulations to all those who braved the icy conditions to take part in the annual Aware 10k on Saturday last, 13th Dec. Sean Hehir was first man home in a time of 31.04, Ciara Hickey was first lady home in 39.36. Sandra Brady finished off her year with a fine run, finishing in 50.38. Sandra has been working very hard in training, since her return from injury earlier in the year and next year will see her back to her very best.
Our Club was founded in 1983 primarily as a marathon running club, however over the years we have introduced a juvenile section and cover a wide range of athletic disciplines.
