Well done to everyone who took part in the annual Stephen's day, Streets Of Wicklow 5k, over 500 in the 5k race, and approximately 100 in the kids 1mile race. The race was won by Mick Byrne, fully fit again, in 16.58. Dominic Horan finished in an excellent 6th position in 17.30. Richard Kavanagh, 20.03 and Dolores Gilliland, 24.35 also took part. Our Club was founded in 1983 primarily as a marathon running club, however over the years we have introduced a juvenile section and cover a wide range of athletic disciplines.
